Carrick, still evening

Carrick,still evening

A quiet pink evening in Irvine Harbour. The old clipper The Carrick/City of Adelaide is sitting in dry dock waiting till the time comes to sail back to Australia for the final time.

A small 6″ sq. board. Again its an experiment in sketchy marks, wondering how to escape the photographic image. Taking it to a finish tomorrow then back to real world and my portrait of Richard to finish.

  1. You make it look so easy…. I struggle, whether I’m deliberately being abstract or trying to be more realistic with my images. Sigh. 🙂

  2. Exciting David closer to abstract and – for me – better each time.
