Charcoal portrait, Sandy

From the former Prime Minister of Australia to my old mucker Sandy. Another charcoal portrait in what, I suppose, is now a series. Well I’ve done two now. The drawing isn’t finished yet but I had to dash.
Some say a portrait should also be a character study. Can you tell Sandy is a wind-up merchant.
One of Sandy’s own portraits can be seen in the post “Sandy’s latest”

  6. Simply exquisite. I want to draw like this when I grow up. As long as I don’t really have to grow up to do it. 😉
