Margaret Carslaw at the HAC

I went to Margaret Carslaw’s exhibition opening at the HAC tonight.

A terrific show of colour and interpretation of forms from the most enthusiastic painter I have ever met. Margaret loves paint, painting and painters.

She graduated from Glasgow School of art when in her fifties, and mixed it up with kids more than half her age. She exudes youth and it shows in her canvases. It is great to see her work outside of the studio and see it as it should be seen on the wall of a public space. I have to share this photo of Margaret in full flow.
